New York, NY (October 6th, 2016) – The importance of love, family and hope is highlighted in the new heartwarming tale CHRISTMAS RANCH, starring Taylor Lyons and Francine Locke. Directed by Douglas B. Maddox, the film tells the story of a rebellious teenager named Lizzy who is sent to her grandmother’s ranch for Christmas after an incident at school gets her suspended. Although reticent at first, Lizzy begins to open up with the help of a nameless pony whom she calls “Hope”, one of the last remaining animals on the ranch. A sick horse and not eating properly, Hope responds to the attention and care from Lizzy who vows to learn everything she can to try and help nurse him back to health. One day while sorting through her grandmother’s mail, Lizzy learns the unfortunate news that the ranch is about to be foreclosed on. Lizzy realizes she must do whatever it takes to save the ranch and devises a plan that will not only save her grandmother’s property but also help Hope in the process.
