FATHER JOSEPH

New York, NY (August 8th, 2016) Virgil Films & Entertainment announces the release of the documentary FATHER JOSEPH, which will be released on Digital HD and DVD August 23th. The film follows Father Joseph Philippe who sacrificed and risked everything to provide the people of Haiti various tools and necessities to survive and flourish. Father Joseph Philippe’s story demonstrates the importance of how one person can make a huge difference and become an inspiration for others.

Father Joseph created Haiti’s largest micro-credit bank for the poor, but his mission didn’t stop there. He also founded a 700-student K-14 school, an orphanage, a clean water project, a reforestation program, a health clinic, and a radio station; he has built dozens of homes, and he created the University of Fondwa, Haiti’s first rural college.

FATHER JOSEPH is a film about the strong boundaries of faith and how that faith continues to inspire. Many setbacks brought his work to the verge of crashing including the devastating earthquake of 2010 and the murders of friends and colleagues by warring gangs who continue to roam the streets Haiti.

FATHER JOSEPH will be available to own for digital download and streaming on all digital retailers as well on DVD August 23rd, 2016
