We lost a giant today with the passing of Robert Redford. Actor, Producer, Oscar winning Director, Activist who stood firm on Native American rights and climate change, husband, father and a champion like no other for independent films and filmmakers. We will not see the likes of him for a long time if ever. The age-old cliché “they don’t make ’em like this anymore” feels appropriate and true at this moment. He personified what good can be done when you have the voice and the means to do it. He was more than an actor. He was a true American.
Rest in Peace Sundance Kid, Roy Hobbs, Bob Woodward, Henry Brubaker, Jay Gatsby, Jeremiah Johnson, Hubbell Gardiner, Waldo Pepper and Johnny Hooker. We’ll continue to enjoy the moments we shared with you over and over again whenever you come and spend some time with us. It’s those movie moments that will live on.
Thank you Mr. Redford
